Jonathan Varholak | Partner

Jon is a member of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners Suburban leasing group.  Prior to joining Richards Barry Joyce & Partners Jon was a Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield. He specializes in tenant and landlord advisory work and over the last fifteen years has been involved in the lease and sale of over 9.0 mm square feet of Office, R&D and Laboratory real estate transactions in Greater Boston.

He was awarded the Brokerage Service Excellence Award for the New England Region in 1998 and in 2000, Jon and his team was awarded the "Top Producing Brokerage Team" in New England by Cushman & Wakefield. He was a recipient of the prestigious Cushman & Wakefield "Top 100 National Ranking" in 2000; and in 2001, Jon was a member of a team that was awarded the "Industrial Deal of the Year" by the Commercial Brokers Association of Boston. He was also awarded “Top 25 Power Broker in the City’ by the CoStar Group in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and has also received the CBA’s Multi-Million Dollar Lease Club Platinum Level over the last seven years. In 2007, Jon was awarded CBA’s 2007 “Life Science Deal of the Year” in Greater Boston.

Jon graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and also volunteers time with the executive team of Citizens Schools which is a nonprofit organization that is educating inner city youth and strengthening communities.
